There is a trade edition bound in gray-black cloth with pictorial stamping in gold on the cover and spine and gold lettering. This edition has the same number of illustrations as the limited edition and the same end-papers. Size of the page, 7⅜×9¾.

American Edition: Bound in red cloth with the same pictorial stamping in gold. This edition has the same number of illustrations and the same pictorial end-papers and is the same size. Published by J. B. Lippincott Co., Philadelphia.

Bound in purple cloth with gold lettering on the spine. 267 numbered pages, 9⅜×6⅛. One full-page black and white illustration that was a heading for a story in Cassell’s Magazine entitled “The Dream Picture.” This illustration appeared in 1896. There is an article, “Some Illustrated Books,” that mentions Mr. Rackham’s work.

There is a drawing on the title-page and a frontispiece, both in black and white, by Arthur Rackham. There are six photographic illustrations in the book. The book is dated on the reverse title page and is marked “First Edition.” There are two errata slips on pages 331 and 428.
