Born, Winthrop, Maine, 1843; graduate Columbian University, Washington, 1868; admitted Colorado Bar, 1869; began practice in Pueblo, where he was Mayor for one term and County Attorney and City Attorney, successively; appointed Supreme Court Commisisoner by Gov. Cooper in 1889; member Court of Appeals, 1891-93; during past eight years has been Assistant City Attorney and Chief Deputy City Attorney, Denver; now practicing alone.
