RED-SHOULDERED HAWK.

Length, 19.00 inches. Adult, upper parts hlackisli brown and rusty; lesser wing-coverts bright chestnut; wings and tail black and white; under parts rich rusty and white. Young, less rusty on back, wings and tail largely rusty; under parts white, spotted or streaked with blackish.
