OSTENDE nobis, Domine, misericordiam tuam.

SHOW us Thy mercy, O Lord.

R. Et salutare tuum da nobis.

R. And grant us Thy salvation.

V. Domine, exaudi orationem meam.

V. O Lord, hear my prayer.

R. Et clamor meus ad te veniat.

R. And let my cry come unto Thee.

V. Dominus vobiscum.

V. The Lord be with you.

R. Et cum spiritu tuo.

R. And with thy spirit.

Let us Pray

Amen.

HEAR us, O holy Lord, Father almighty, everlasting God; and vouchsafe to send Thy holy angel from heaven, to guard, cherish, protect, visit, and defend all those that are assembled together in this house. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

From Easter to Pentecost inclusively, instead of the foregoing antiphon the following is sung, and Alleluia is added to the versicle, (Ostende nobis), and also to ts response (Et salutare).
