(3) ECCLESIASTICAL DIVISION.

As the established religion of the State is the Roman Catholic, the whole Republic forms an ecclesiastical province, composed of an archdiocese and three dioceses, under the general supervision of the archbishop and three bishops.

(4) UNIVERSITY DIVISION.

For educational purposes, Bolivia is divided into 5 university districts: First, Chuquisaca, comprising the departments of Chuquisaca, Potosi and Litoral; second, La Paz, comprising the departments of La Paz and Oruro; third, Cochabamba, which is limited to that department; fourth, Santa Cruz, embracing the department of Santa Cruz, Beni, and Tarija.
