Which laid waſte a great part of the beautiful City CATANIA and deſtroyed in its progreſs theproperty of near THIRTY THOUSAND PERSONS.

AND THE LATE

DREADFUL ERUPTION OF

Mount Veſuvius in Italy.

Which broke out on the 15th of June, 1794 and continued in force about 10 days; the lava, of which, overwhelmed, burnt, and deſroyed the greateſt part of the TOWN OF TORRE del GRECO, allowing the unfortunate inhabitants ſcarcely time to ſave their lives, are heating the waters to ſuch a degree, where it fell into the ſea; that a great many boiled fiſh were ſeen floating on its ſurface.
