The ClVll Aeronautlcs Board was notlfled of thls accldent on January 29, 1963, and an 1nvest1gat10n was 1mmed1ately 1n1t1ated under the prov131ons of TJtle VII of the Federal Av1atlon Act of 1958 as amended. A publlc hearlng was conducted at Kansas Clty, Mlssourl, March 13—14, 1963.
