Mr. Boyd's letter of November 6, 1963 (also reference 3-1-96), concerning the New York Airways accident of a Vertol 107 aircraft, referred to this suggestion and recommended that the investigation be extended to cover overhaul tune lbnits on "all pertinent parts and assemblies."

The investigation findings of the New York Airways accident indicate that the failure which precipitated the accident was not related to the manner in which the overhaul times were established.
