Did President Trump authorize you to discuss publicly your January 4th, 2021, conversation with him?

Q So is it your position that you can discuss in the media direct conversations you had with the President of the United States, but you will not discuss those same conversations with this committee?

And, committee's indulgence, just to be clear, I advised my client not only to take the Fifth, but we're not in a position to go into the basis of the Fifth without defeating the position itself, which is likely to be answers to—similar answers will be offered to questions such as the one just asked, if that helps.
