THE T. EATON GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to Section 104 of The Canadian and British Insurance Companies Act, 1932, as amended. that The T. Eaton General Insurance Company. having its head office at the City of Tomato, in the Province of Ontario, has ceased to transact business; that all of its policies have expired; that all of its liabilities have been settled: and that it will apply to the Honourable the Minister of Finance of the Dominion of Canada, on the 7th day of November, 1939, for the release of its securities which are on deposit with the said Minister.

Any policyholder opposing such release should file his opposition with the said Minister at Ottawa, Canada, before the said 7th day of November, 1939.

NAVIGABLE WATERS PROTECTION ACT
R.S.C. 1927. Chapter 140

THE Bell Telephone Company of Canada hereby gives notice that it has under section 7 at the said Act, deposited with the Minister of Public Works at Ottawa, and in the office of the Register for the Registry Division of the Counties of Lennox and Addington, at Napanee, Ontario, a description of the site and the plan of a submarine telephone cable proposed to be laid across the Napanee River on the east side of the Centre Street bridge, from a point on Centre Street on the south side of the said river to a point on said Centre Street, on the north side of the said river, in the Town of Napanee. in the County of Lennox, Province of Ontario.

And take notice that after the expiration of one month from the date of the first. publication of this notice. The Bell Telephone Company of Canada will, under section 7 of the said Act, apply to the Minister of Public Works at his office in the City of Ottawa. for approval of the said site and plan, and for leave to lay the said submarine telephone cable.
