Seated in a chair on the arms of which she rests her hands; turned to the riyht, and looking at the spectator. She is dressed in a black gown trimmed with fur, and a white ruff and cap. Three-quarters length figure. Life-size.

Inscription on Die back of the panel : Vrouwe Maria Brcnian lluijsvrouw Van do llcer Zacharias van Hcscnbnjcck llecre van Hofdijck.
