(d) inspect, seize and remove any device or equipment found on the premises which he had reasonable cause to believe may be required as such evidence;
(e) inspect, sample, seize and remove any substance found on the premises which he has reasonable cause to believe may be required as such evidence;
(f) search or cause to be searched any person found on the premises whom he has reasonable cause to believe to be in possession of any document, device, equipment or substance.

(3) No woman or girl shall be searched except by a woman.

(4) Any person who wilfully obstructs, hinders, resists or deceives any authorised officer in entering the premises concerned or in exercising any of the powers referred to in subsection (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $15,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.

Offences by body corporate

28. Where an offence under this Act or any regulations made thereunder is committed by a body corporate, and it is proved to have been committed with the consent or connivance of, or to be attributable to any act or default on the part of, any director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the body corporate, or any person who was purporting to act in any such capacity, he, as well as the body corporate, shall be guilty of that offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.

Jurisdiction of Courts

29. A District Court or a Magistrate's Court shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine all prosecutions for offences under this Act or any regulations made thereunder; and a District Court shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the Criminal Procedure Code (Cap. 68), have jurisdiction to impose the full penalty or punishment under this Act or any regulations made thereunder.
