"Blessings be with thee, prince! and princess! thou

Be blest with countless blessings!—thus we bear

Our consecration to the marriage now,

And ask the blessings of the Eternal here!"

Voices of joy, until the sun retreated,

Rose from the palace—and when evening greeted

The guests—young virgins went, and blushing, spread

The fairest roses on the nuptial bed.
