RULES.



  1. Do not sound the italicised letters.
  2. Wherever an apostrophe occurs, put in a strong aspirate.
  3. Ow is to be pronounced throughout as in how and ü as in German, or as the French u.
All other combinations are to be pronounced strictly according to the requirements of the English alphabet.
