recognition of Teuku Nyaʾ Banta by the court, so that the double panglimaship continued to exist, but in fact Teuku Juhan is not able to pose as a rival of Teuku Nyaʾ Banta.
Teuku Imeum Tungkōb[1] is to this day a powerful chief in the XXVI Mukims. The power of Teuku Ateuëʾ (chief of the IV Mukims Ateuëʾ) on the other hand was according to tradition much more considerable in earlier times than it now is.
