This notice is sent to the individual or organization to whom the grant of special relief had been given at the last address shown in the records of the Copyright Office.

Relationship of deposit for registration to mandatory deposit under 17 U.S.C. 407. The deposit for a published work that is acceptable under section 408 of the current Act, which deals with copyright registration, also satisfies the deposit requirements of section 407 of that Act, which deals with deposit for the use or disposition of the Library of Congress.
