ow hard, alas, is that young Lover's fate,
Who has a father Covetous and Cholerique!
What has he made me swear?—
I dare not think upon the Oath, lest I should keep it———
Never to see my Mistris more, or hear her speak
Without his leave; And farewel then the use
Of Eyes and Ears;———
And all this Wickedness I submitted to,
For fear of being Disinherited;
For fear of losing Durt and Dross, I lose
My Mistris——— There's a Lover! Fitter much
For Hell than thousand perjuries could make him,
Fit to be made th'Example which all Women
