Vasari calls him Tommaso di Ste- fano, and says he was born in 1324, thus confounding him with Maso di Banco (died seated on the bank, giving the breast to her after 1351), whom Ghiberti makes the pupil child, to the right ; background, a beautiful of Giotto, and who was admitted to the guild landscape.
