Marine painter, pupil of Westenberg and Pieneman ; painted land- scapes in France in 1827-31 ; lived at De- venter, Holland, in 1833-39 ; removed in 1841 to Paris, where after 1842 he exhibit- ed numerous works. MEYERHEIM, (FRIEDRICH) EDU- A R D, b o r 11 i n Dantzic, Jan. 7, 1808, died in Ber- lin, Jan. 18, 1879.
