April l, 1762 ; inherited the Baronetcy from his father, Feb. 12, 1/70, and was raised to the peerage in 1826; his lordship was Colonel of the Cheshire Yeomanry Cavalry; and gave most liberal encouragement to the Fine Arts: m. Nov. 3, 1810, Georgiana Maria, daughter of Col. Cottin: and d. June 18, 1827, having had issue, two sons. Her ladyship d. in 1859, having been re- married to the Kev. Frederick Leicester.
