May 29. 1798, and succeeded his father, May 4, 1843 ; he was Premier Baron of Scotland : m. 1st, Jan. 31, 1825, Horatio, /th daughter of Sir John Gregory Shaw, 5th Bart., she d. 1862, leaving issue four sons and one daughter; 2ndly, April 4, 1864, Louisa, daughter of James Ormoiid, Esq. of Abingdon; and d. May 1, 1868, having had issue from last marriage two sons. FORBES, Baroness, LOUISA, daughter of James Ormond, Esq. of Abingdon, Berkshire: m. 1864, as his 2nd wife, the 18th Baron Forbes, who d. 1868. Residence, Castle- Forbes, Whitehouse, Aberdeenshire. Forbes-Trefusis, family name of Baron Clinton. Fordwich, Viscount, title borne by Earl Cowper. FORESTER, BARON. (FORESTER.)* GEORGE CECIL WELD FORESTER, P.C., 3rd Baron. Born May 10th, 1807; suc- ceeded his brother 1874. Educated at Westminster. Entered the Royal Horse Guards Blue as Cornet 1824, became Major 1846, Lieut.-Col. 1848, Col. 1854, Major-Gen. 1863. Was Groom of the Bedchamber to George IV. and to William IV., and Comptroller of the Household 1852 and 18589. Is a Magistrate for Always the same Staffordshire. Sat as M.P. for Wenlock (C.) 1828-74. Married (1862) the Hon. Mary Anne Jervis, daughter of the 2nd Viscount St. Vincent, and widow of D. 0. Dyce-Sombre, Esq. Brothers living, Rev. Orlando Watkin Weld, heir presumptive; h. 1813 ; educated at West- minster, and at Trinity College, Cambridge (M.A. 1836) ; was Rector of Broseley, Salop 1842 59, and Vicar of Doveridge, Derbyshire, 1857 66, when he became Rector of Gedling, Nottinghamshire. Was Prebend of Hereford 1846 68 ; appointed a Prebend and Canon Resident of York 1874 . TO. 1st, 1840, Sophia Elizabeth, who d. 1872, daughter of Richard Norman, Esq., and has issue, Cecil Theodore, b. 1842, m. 1st, 1866, Emma Georgiana, daughter of Sir W. W. Dixie, 7th Bart.: m. 2ndly, 1875, Emma Maria, eldest daughter of William Tollemache, Esq. and Lady Anna Maria Tollemache. Residence, York. Emilius John Weld, b. 1815. Henry Townshend, 6. 1821.
