June 26, 1//2, and succeeded his brother, July 14, 1853, having previously, in 1/95, assumed, by Royal permission, the surname and arms of Fellowes: in. 1st, Jan. 30, 1795, Frances, daughter of the late Rev.Castell Sherrard, lit Glaston, (she d 1819), and by her had issue two sons and three daughters; 2ndly, June 24, 1820, Lady Catherine Fortescue, daughter of the 1st Earl Fcrtescue and d. Jan. 9, 1854, having had issue from his second marriage a son and three daughters. Her ladyship survived him a few months. POULETT, EAEL. (POULETT.) WILLIAM HENRY POULETT, 6th Earl, son of Vice-Admiral the Hon. George Poulett, son of John, 4th Earl. Born Sept. 22nd, 1827 ; succeeded his uncle in 1864 ; was educated at the Royal Military College, Sandhurst ; entered the Army 1845, became Lieut. 1848, Capt. 22nd Foot, 1851, and retired 1858 : married, at Port- sea, June 23rd, 1849, Elizabeth Lavinia, who died Aug. 9th, 1871, daughter of Mr. Newman, Pilot of Landport, and has Keep the faith. issu6) living _ Sow, William Tumour Thomas, Viscount Hinton, b. at Southsea, Dec. 15th, 1849 ; educated at Church House College, Merton, Surrey; was sometime engaged as a clown and professional pantomimist ai the Surrey theatre and elsewhere, under the nom de guerre of "Mr. Cosman": m. Dec. 6th, 1369, Miss.Lydia Ann Shippy, a ballet dancer, and has, with other issue, William Henry George, b 1870. His lordship married 2ndly, Sept. 20th, 1871, Miss Emma Sophia Johnson. Patron of five livings, Lopen, V. Chaffcombe, R. Chillington, V. St. George, R. Hin- ton St. Michael, R. Seavington, Somersetshire. Creations, Baron Poulett of Hinton St. George, Somerset, 1627, Viscount Hinton and Earl Poulett, 1706, all in the peerage of Great Britain.
