this Science: it is not every Student that can, or that chuses to purchase a Pair of Globes, and to study Astronomy in bare and dry Authors, hath always been found an hopeless task, which hath deterred many a good genius from attempting this Study at all: but, I presume, and shall venture to affirm, that the encouragement every one will meet with at the first use of this Planiſphere, will do away every objection, and will lead them on, by pleasing steps, through this short, pertinent, and useful Introduction, into the wide campaign of the most sublime Science of Astronomy.
