DUFFUS, Barony (Scot. 1650).—The destination of the Peerage is unknown. It was claimed in 1838 by Benjamin Dunbar (by paternal descent Sutherland) as heir male, and by Rev. Eric Rudd as heir of line. The heirs male are now extinct, but a Mr. Sutherland Edwards claims as heir of line. There seems no way of ever deciding the point.

FITZ WALTER, Barony (writ 1295).—In all probability the sole heir is the present Henry Fitzwalter Plumptree, of Goodnestone Park, who is therefore probably de jure Lord Fitz Walter. In any event, he is co-heir to an undivided moiety. (See also DEVEREUX.)

heir, if any, of Mary Mackworth, and (d) Reginald Joseph Weld.

GARDNER, Barony (Irel. 1800 and Utd. Kgdm. 1806).—This title is dormant, there being two claimants.
