(6) The Appeals Board may—

(a) subject to any other provision in this Part, regulate its own procedure and make standing orders for that purpose; and
(b) appoint one of its members to act as chairman if the chairman is absent.

(7) The Appeals Board may at its request be assisted in the conduct of an appeal by a legal officer appointed by the Attorney General to act as legal assessor.

(8) The Governor shall appoint a person to be the secretary to the Appeals Board.

Director to serve notice of decision on person adversely affected. 60. (1) Subject to subsection (2), if the Director has made a decision by exercising any power conferred on him under a provision specified in the First Column of the Table contained in this section, he shall serve notice in writing of his decision on the persons specified in relation thereto in the Second Column of the Table, stating the grounds for his decision, and shall supply to the person a copy of this Part.
