Let us re- " concile God's Favour to " us by confessing our Sins, " as the Prophet warneth us : " Let us lift up our Hearts " with our Hands unto God; " that is, that we ought " to lift up [or present] " the Sincerity of our De- " votions with an earnest of " Good Works. He giveth you confidence in your Fear, who speaks to you by his Prophet : " I have " no pleasure in the Death of " the Wicked, but that the " Wicked should turn from his " way and live. Let not any " Man despair of himself for " the greatness of his Sin, for- " asmuch as the old Guilt of " the People of Niniveh was " expiated by their three " Days Repentance : And
