  1. And hē manega gehǣlde þe missenlīcum ādlum gedrehte wǣron, and manega dēofolsēocnyssa hē ūt ādrāf, and hī sprecan ne lēt, for þām hī wiston þæt hē Crīst wæs.
  2. And swīðe ǣr ārīsende, hē fērde on wēste stōwe, and hine þār gebæd.
  3. And him fyligde Simon, and þā ðe mid him wǣron.
  4. And þā hī hine gemētton, hī sǣdon him, Eall þis folc ðē sēcð.
  5. Þā cwæð hē, Fare wē on gehende tūnas and ceastra þæt ic ðār bodige; witodlīce tō ðām ic cōm.
  6. And hē wæs bodigende on heora gesamnungum and ealre Galilea, and dēofolsēocessa ūt ādrīfende.

Ðys [godspel] sceal on wōdnesdæg on þǣre fīftēoðan wucon ofer pentecosten.

  1. And tō him cōm sum hrēofla, hinne biddende, and gebīgedum cnēowum, him tō cwæþ, Drihten, gif þū wilt, ðū miht geclǣnsian mē.
  2. Sōðlīce sē Hǣlend him gemiltsode, and his hand āþenode, and hine æthrīnende †þus cwæð, Ic wylle; bēo ðū geclǣnsod.
