- And þā hē ðus cwæð, sōna sēo hrēofnys him fram gewāt, and hē wæs geclǣsod.
- And sōna hē bēad him,
- and cwæð, Warna þæt ðū hit nānum men ne secge; ac gā, and ætȳw ðē þāra sācerda ealdre, and bring for ðīnre clǣnsunga þæt Moyses bebēad, him on gewitnesse.
- And hē þā ūt gangende ongan bodian and wīdmǣrsian þā sprǣce, swā þæt hē ne mihte openlīce on þā ceastre gān, ac bēon ūte on wēstum stōwum; and hī ǣghwanon tō him cōmon.

- And eft æfter dagum hē ēode intō Cafarnaum; and hit wæs gehȳred þæt hē wæs on hūse.
- And manega tōgædere cōmon; and hē tō heom spræc.
- And hī cōmon ānne laman tō him berende, þone fēower men bǣron.
- And þā hī ne mihton hine in bringan for þǣre mænigu, hī openodon þone hrōf þār sē Hǣlend wæs; and hī þā in āsendan þæt bed þe sē lama on læg.
