6 Euangelium [I, 42—

  1. And þā hē ðus cwæð, sōna sēo hrēofnys him fram gewāt, and hē wæs geclǣsod.
  2. And sōna hē bēad him,
  3. and cwæð, Warna þæt ðū hit nānum men ne secge; ac gā, and ætȳw ðē þāra sācerda ealdre, and bring for ðīnre clǣnsunga þæt Moyses bebēad, him on gewitnesse.
  4. And hē þā ūt gangende ongan bodian and wīdmǣrsian þā sprǣce, swā þæt hē ne mihte openlīce on þā ceastre gān, ac bēon ūte on wēstum stōwum; and hī ǣghwanon tō him cōmon.

CAPUT ii

  1. And eft æfter dagum hē ēode intō Cafarnaum; and hit wæs gehȳred þæt hē wæs on hūse.
  2. And manega tōgædere cōmon; and hē tō heom spræc.
  3. And hī cōmon ānne laman tō him berende, þone fēower men bǣron.
  4. And þā hī ne mihton hine in bringan for þǣre mænigu, hī openodon þone hrōf þār sē Hǣlend wæs; and hī þā in āsendan þæt bed þe sē lama on læg.
