Just then the barmaid comes out and says to St. Peter, "And the cuarto, friend?" (Cuarto is the name of a coin and also means 'fourth'). First knocks egg against wall and says, "Casca cascorum"; second breaks shell a little more, sprinkles dirt over it and says, "Sar, sale, sapiensa"; third takes off shell, swallows egg at one gulp and says, "Consumatus es" [K 444.1].
