ST. AUGUSTIN, L. C. “The Church fructifies and increases through the world. For this there is yet room, until that be fulfilled which, under the figure of Solomon was foretold of Christ; (Ps. 71.) He shall rule from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. (Ps. 85.) All nations which thou hast made, shall come and worship before thee, O Lord. The Prophet (Sophonias ii. 11.) moreover saith: And they shall adore him, every man from his own place, all the islands of the Gentiles.
