RiCHAKD Peche was archdeacon of Coventry after 1 135, and continued so till his elevation in 1161. He occurs in the end of bishop Walter's time, about 11597.
Edmund occurs between 1161 and 1175^. Nicholas held it in 1176 and 11849, Richard Brito held it in 1184 and 1189. Richard de Leghes in 1210. Robert de Bosco held it about 1224. Richard of Gloucester held it about 1229'*^. Alexander de Hales held it about 1231 1^ and also
in 1235 12. Ob. xii Cal. Sept. (21st Aug.) 1245. Adam de Hoo held it in 1240 and 1242. Luke de St. Martin held it 5th Nov. 1245 '3. William de Kilkenny held it in 1248 1^. He was
bishop of Ely in 12551. John de Kirkeby held it in 1272 and 1 283^6. Richard Brito held it in 1284. Robert Stafford held it about 1293 ^^^ ^297. Peter de Insula held this office about 1299. Richard de Ambaldis or Ambalers held it in 131517, John Gaytanni, cardinal of St. Theodore, held it in
