HEYDOUR cum WALTON.
W.u.tkk de Wotton held this stall in 1308. " Obiit
die Veneris in Septinume pasche 1308." Thomas DE Gbandisom obiit in Curia llomana" circa
John de Geandison, presented to it in 1317 by papal
provision, vice Thomas de Grandison deceased. He
died in 1328, and waa succeeded in his prebend by Thomas IIerkwakd, collated v Kal. Feb. (28th Jan.)
1327-8. Pigellus dk Manetti de Floeence held it in 13 28
He exchanged it with 1 1 1 in y Godhyve in [334, who also parted with it for
the wardenship of the free chapel of the castle of
Marlborough, in Sarum diocese. Jeffey dk Scroop or le Strorp succeeded in 1334,
and held it in 1343 and 1373. He died in 1380, and
was buried in the cathedral. w> A i.an dk Stokes enjoyed it in 1387, and exchanged it
for a prebend of Langchester, co. Durham, in 1393,
with Richard Mawdelixk, admitted 12th Sept. 1393. Hugh Hamertox succeeded in 1398, vice Mawdeline
resigned. He quitted it for Brampton in 1405. Hugh Haxworth succeeded in 1405, and exchanged
it, for Fenton prebend in York, with John Welbourne, collated 10th March 14078. Alan Kihketox held it in I-140, and died in 1443. William Peircy, collated in 1443, vice Kirketon de- ceased : he was in 1450 made bishop of Carlisle. Christopher Warmington, collated 18th Nov. 1452. John Bedall, collated 8th and installed by proxy 22nd
Sept. 146.), vice Warmington resigned. Henry Ainsworth, B.D., collated 1 8th Aug. 1483,
vice Bedall deceased. Richard Maudeley, B.D., installed 15th June 15 \6,
