Thomas Cecjll, S.T.P., collated jst Feb. 1609-10, and installed 10th May 1610.

William Roberts, S.T.P., collated 6th July 1628, and installed on the 9th of the same month. He be- came bishop of Bangor in 1657.

Thomas Bayly, A.M., subdean of Wells, installed 13th Sept. 1638. He changed his religion about 1651, on his going out of England, and died very poor beyond the seas. His successor at the restoration was

John Allington, A.M., installed iSth Oct. 1660. He died in 1 68a.

George Topham, A.M., collated 8th Feb., and installed 2nd March 1682-3, v ' ce J nn Allington deceased, and died 1694. Succeeded by

John M a m> i:\ille, S.T. P., installed 12th Jan. 1694-5. In 1695 he was made chancellor.

Samuel Harris, A.M., collated 27th Dec. 1695, and installed 1 8th Jan. 16956.

George Martin, A.M., collated 6th Feb., and installed 7th April 1699. He died 1722, being prebendary of Norwich.

Henry Green, A.M., presented 9th Jan. 1 721-2.

Angel Chauncy, A.M., collated 19th Aug. and in- stalled 16th Sept. 1749.

Nicholas Fayting, collated 14th May and installed 19th June 1756.

Thomas Brand, A.M., collated 13th and installed 27th June 1789, vice Nicholas Fayting deceased.

Robert Stevens, collated 6th July and installed 13th Aug. 1814, vice Thomas Brand deceased.

Robert Ma son, precentor', quitted this prebend in 1483

for Farrendon. Simon Stallworth, collated 1 8th Sept. 1483. He was

in 1488 made subdean.
