installed 30th Oct. [597. Lawrence Carlisle, installed 27th Aug. 1617 ; after
him Raphael Throckmorton, S.T.P.. archdeacon of Lin- coln, installed 1st Oct. 1660; he died in 1667. William Boothe, A.M., died holding this stall 27th
Feb. 1 670-1, astat. 75. Robert Thorp, A.M., collated 2cth Sept., and in- stalled on the 22nd of the same month 1671, vice
Boothe deceased. Henry Perne, A.M., collated 5th Feb. 1680-81, and
installed 27th Dec. 1681. He died anno 1724. John Ressel, A.M., collated 9th July 1724 ; he was
also prebendary of Peterborough. Henry Best, A.M., collated 19th Nov., and installed 4th Dec. 1762, vice John Russel deceased. He died
at Lincoln and was buried in the presbytery of the
cathedral in 1782.
