Lawrence Humphrey, S.T.P., dean of Gloucester^ had institution hero from the archbishop 14th Oct. 1580. He died ist Feb. 1588-9, president of Magdalen col- lege, Oxon, and was buried in Magdalen college chapel, Oxon-'^, sotat. 6^. Martin Heton, S.T.P., was installed 20th March 1588-9 -^^ and in 1599 was made bishop of Ely. George Abbot, S.T.P., was installed 6th March 1599- i6oo-^2, and in 1609 was made bishop of Coventry and Lichfield. Thomas Moreton, dean of Gloucester^ was installed 3rd June i6o9-^^, ^^^^ ^^ '^^3 ^^^^ made bishop of Chester. John Young, S.T.P., was installed 8th July 1616'^^. Alexander Hydp:, LL.D., installed 8th Aug. i66o-^^ and in 1665 was made bishop of Salisbury ^^. William Clark, S.T.P., installed 1st Feb. 1665-6^".
