John Saumares or Sammeres, M.A., was appointed 15th, and installed 19th April 1671 : void by the death of John Lloyd ^^. Saumares, who was also dean of Jersey, died ist Sept. 1697. Gregory Hascard, M.A., was appointed by patent 5th May, and installed 9th May 1671 : void by the resignation of Henry Wotton 7^. In Sept. 1684 Has- card became dean of this chapel, but held his canonry with it till his death, which happened 15th Nov. 1708. Peter Scott, LL.D., was appointed by patent nth July and installed 13th July 1671 : void by the death of William Brough^i. Scott died 26th Dec. 1689. Thomas Doughty, S.T.P., was appointed by patent I ith Feb. and installed 14th Feb. 1672-3: void by the promotion of Peter Mewes^'^. Doughty died 2nd Dec. 1701, 8etat. 6^, and was buried at Windsor. Isaac Vossius, LL.D., was installed 12th May 1673: void by the death of Thomas Viner. Vossius died i ith Feb. 1688-9.
