Gray, named therein, in re- spect of the offence charged against him, as committed in Great Britain, namely, that he feloniously did forge, utter, and put off certain orders, purporting to be orders by William Jowett, for the payment of money, to-wit, bankers* checks for the payment of the sum of £60, with intent thereby then and there to defraud, if the inquiry as to such criminality were being had in the tribunals of Great Britain, and that the foregoing documents are authenticated according to the law of Great Britain.
