1 tōa nái, jī nái, saⁿ nái. 1 Eldest, second, and third, wives.
2 lʉ́ mài tam gō úa. 2 Do not you hinder me.
3 kúai kha kâi nâng cíe. 3 There were but few lame people.
4 lʉ́ m̄ hɵ́ kio ngău. 4 Do not be proud.
5 bɵ̂ sĭm mih lĭ iah. 5 No special benefit.
6 lʉ́ mài hāi i. 6 Do not you harm him.
7 phah kàu i kúai kha. 7 Beat him till he was lamed.
8 lʉ́ mài gō tîeh sʉ̄. 8 Do not you thwart the thing.

12 ngɵ̂ kâi nâng m̄ thong lí. 12 Rude people do not comprehend correct principles.

14 saⁿ mīn ngŏ mâk, ĕ jît mài tàⁿ tn̂g tɵ́ kha ūe. 14 As there were but five eyes to the three faces, do not hereafter say her feet were large or small.
15 lʉ́ mài chūe ūe. 15 Do not make excuses.
16 mài tam gō i kâi sî hāu. 16 Do not waste his time.
17 làn cêk keh, cêk keh sía. 17 Write in the alternate spaces.
