Cel.N. Accept this burning light, and guard your blameless Baptism, so that when the Lord comes to the wedding feast, you may meet him there, with all his Saints, in the hall of justice of heaven, and live forever and ever. ℞. Amen.

¶ The kinship that you have contracted in responding for the Baptized, having him when they poured the Holy water on him, impedes you alone such that you may not marry him, nor his father, or mother, and that you have an obligation to teach him the law of God, and the prayer, if his parents were such bad Christians that they did not teach them.
