¶ RITE OF MARRIAGE
of the Indians.

Following the Apostolic conceptions, Fr. Juan Baptista, Veracruz, and the words of many others DD., that marriage may take place at all times, and that it is already a direct communion. Also, at any time they may come, advise the Parish Priest, having informed secretly that there is no impediment, announce the public Banns, for three Sundays or feasts in the Church. Although if it is necessary or convenient to do these within the week where the Indians gather to expedite matters, the Prelate may dispense, and who has the authority, to announce the three banns, in the following manner, or in another more appropriate.
