The chief disturbances which occurred were the mansabdar's incursion of 1813 into the plains; the trouble consequent on his expulsion in 1840; the resistance to him in 1858 and 1862, and the 'Rampa rebellion' of 1879. These are briefly described in the account of Rampa in Chapter XV.
