There are six places of Musalman worship, 1,018 houses, all of which have mud walls. There is a. fair at Bhdratkund, at which 5,000 people assemble. Ram Chandar is said to have visited this place in company with his brother Bharat, and the place takes its name from this visit, " Bhayyadars" meaning the meeting of, the brothers.

on the road from Bihar to Manikpur it is 32 miles from Bela and 28 from Allahabad. The Ganges flows 5 miles to the south. The fort of the Bisen taluqdar of Bhadri was here. Its ruins are still to be seen, covered with picturesque clumps of bamboos. lies

In 1209 Fasli the nazim of the period, Mirza Jani, encamped here, demanded a higher revenue from the taluqdar Daljit Singh, and in the dispute killed him. Numerous other fights occurred here. The population There is one stone temple consists of 1,021 Hindus, and 113 Musalmans. recently erected at a cost of Ks. 10,000 by the present owner.
