for service as set forth in the following

CITATION:
For meritorious achievement in aerial flight as a bombardier/navigator attached to Attack Squadron SIXTY-FIVE embarked in USS CONSTELLATION (CVA 64) in combat operations in Southeast Asia from 27 June 1966 to 11 July 1966. In the successful completion of ten strikes against the enemy in an active combat area, Lieutenant (junior grade) COKER contributed substantially to the success of the United States efforts in Southeast Asia. His achievements were accomplished with distinction under hazardous conditions and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the United States Naval Service.
