Dear Mr Hartert;

I have your valued favor of Aug 22. Regarding the duplicates I wish to say that I am satisfied to have them go to Budapest museum at the price you name. And I also accept the terms as to the payment. I do not think that I will have to ask you to advance any of the money.

Please accept my thanks for your very great kindness in arranging for the disposal of all my duplicate skins. It is a kindness that I assure you I thoroughly appreciate.
