Fairy Footprints

DEEP buried in the flowered chair.
Herself the quaintest flower there,
Sweet slender hands crossed idly o'er
Some cherished page of fairy-lore—

While bluest eyes gaze far away,
In quest of fairies at their play,
Her quaint soul roaming far in space,
Where fairy footprints leave their trace.
