On the right is a rugged hill with a house on top and a high road at its side, along which a loaded cart is being drawn by two horses. The driver lets the front horse drink at a river. Near it is a woman with a bundle on her head and a boy at her side. A cavalier rides after a lady on horseback up the hill. A boy wades through the water. Near him two men are pulling in nets.
