Near the hearth at the back one man pays the hostess his reckoning. There are several benches and chairs. On the floor are an earthenware jug, playing-cards, a chest, and a sleeping dog. To the left is a staircase. All round the room hang lanterns, pots, plates, bird-cages, and other things. Dated 1661 ; panel, 13 inches by 12 inches. Sales. P. J.
