To the left is a lake ; to the right is a pool. Hounds attack a stag ; the huntsmen approach. The group is ascribed to Wouwerman. Waagen attributed the picture to Pijnacker. On the right is a large cottage thatched with reeds, with a fenced garden. A man comes out of the door. A woman draws water at the well.
