Farther away is another herdsman with a cow lying down and a sheep. In the distance are hills. In the left middle distance are two cows in the water. In the centre a horse is grazing. In front of it a peasant and a woman sit against a bank. To the left are a waggon and a girl milking an ewe. Sm. mentions also deer and figures on a road through a wood.
