Opportunism can, therefore, no longer triumph in the working class of any country for long decades, as was the case in England in the second half of the 19th century. But, in certain countries it has grown ripe, over-ripe and rotten, and has become entirely confused with bourgeois policy in the shape of "socialist jingoism."92
